Wayne Cartlidge Family Memorial Lunch

It’s been two years since my good brother Gordon Dick’s father, Wayne Cartlidge, passed. To honour his memory, Gordon hosted a lunch for community members, family, and friends. He also gifted family members one of his remarkable carvings, along with a large bentwood box for their regalia.

The gathering was held at the beautiful new Somass Hall on Tseshaht Territory — a space designed not only for community gatherings but also to serve as an emergency shelter when needed.

Thank you, brother, for feeding us all so well, for lifting up your family and friends, and for remembering your dad in such a good way. Kleco, kleco.
